Between both divisions of our
companies, we employ nearly
200 people, with an office
staff of over twenty individuals.
Currently we have six project
managers and sixteen field
superintendents.
History
In 1992, and after more than 42-years of experience working in the tile, stucco,
drywall and fireproofing industry, Westland Construction was formed by Stanley
A. Houghton, Jr. as a division of Houghton Plaster, Inc. On average we complete
over $75 million dollars worth of construction each year with projects ranging
from educational facilities and houses of worship, to medical and manufacturing

Services
Westland Construction offers a wide variety of construction related services
including: General contracting, construction management, design-build, and
consulting services. Our firm obtains its work through competitive bidding and
on a negotiated basis. For the past five years over 80% of our work load has
been gained on a negotiated basis. We feel this indicates the commitment and

We are proud to say that we have never failed to complete any project that we have been awarded. In addition, there has never been a time when our firm or its officers have been involved in any judgments, claims, suits, or arbitration proceedings.
